Finalist Profile

Monica Utari Mariana (Monica) is undergraduate student of Public Health, Universitas Indonesia. Having devoted herself either to leadership, environmental, and social activities, in April 2011, she was selected as 1^st Winner of The Most Outstanding Student due to her leadership skill, competence of global issues, capability to write scientific paper, adorable English proficiency and achievements. She also became selected participant to join World Leadership Conference (Singapore, 2009), TUNZA International Children and Youth Conference on Environment (Indonesia, 2011), International Camp of Young Environmentalist (Azerbaijan, 2011) and abstract presenter in International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific (South Korea, 2011). Realizing her role as change maker, she involved as Vice President in youth empowerment organization called GARUDA Youth Community. Beside that she was the expertise in political and social division of Executive Student Board, Public Health UI. She also joined Community Development Services at Indonesia Outermost Islands, West Papua and she was Project Officer of UI Student Development Program.

 Aditya Rian Anggoro (ARA). Born in Bogor, Mei 17th, student of faculty of economics Universitas Indonesia majoring marketing management. He is a studentpreneurs, working at his own holding company “ARA Syndicate” T-Shirt Brand “campuswear Inc”. Also as the Chairman of Young Entrepreneur Association Universitas Indonesia (HIPMI-UI). His Achievement is having no doubt. Participants of Asia-Pasific Forum on Climate Change in Thailand, Indonesian Delegates of APEC-Young Entrepreneur Summit 2011, Malaysia. Awardee of Scholarship from PPSDMS Nurul Fikri, Finalist of National Business Plan Competition, 3rd winner of logo competition by Ministry of Finance Republic Indonesia, and many more. Love Basketball and table tennis, also great in singing and playing all the music instrument.

Dini Khoirinnisa Arifin (Dini). Born in Jakarta, September 21th 1990, student of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Indonesia. She is a student who is very close to the world of student organizations, research activities, social, and entrepreneurship. Recently she served as general treasure of Eka Prasetya Student Research Affair University of Indonesia, involved in Johar Baru Urban Transformation Project, participant of National Young Leader Summit 2011 held by Global Peace Festival Foundation, Volunteers for “Acts of Violence against Women and Children” Mapping in Depok, and owner of two companies (Bloom Enterprise and Depok Star Fruit Hut) which he founded with friends. Dini was also an outstanding student. In 2011 he succeeded in becoming a finalist and winner of various prestigious competitions, which of them are The 1^st winner of Student Creativity Program for Research in FISIP UI, The 1st Winner Humanitarian Blog Competition Dompet Dhuafa (International Charity Organization), The 2nd Winner of National CSR Lampung Competition, and Finalist of Young Indonesian Researcher held by Indonesian Institute of Sciences.

Rahardhika Arista Utama is senior at Sociology Departement, Universitas Indonesia. National Leadership Centre appreciated his leadership skill by his participation in Southeast Asia Summer Project Leadership Action, Philippine 2009. Social and Political Sciences Faculty awarded him as the most outstanding student 2011. He has been playing important roles in many student organizations and community involvements. He is Head of National Advocacy Division for Independent Youth Alliance, active in campus press, and being coordinators in some event committees. He interest in social- environmental issues, which brought him leading 5.000 students in environmental campaign, invited to be a member of Global Climate Change Task Force by University of Washington, Seattle. In social activities, he has been active in Johar Baru Urban Transformation Project, solving slum area housing and young people violence problems. He enjoys his spare time by reading fiction, writing articles and weekly leadership training.

Azhar Fuadi (Azhar). Born in Jakarta, August 3rd 1990, student of Faculty of Engineering Universitas Indonesia majoring Environmental Engineering. Very fast-learner, optimistic, confidence, multi-talented, creative and active person seen in his achievements, awardee “beasiswa unggulan” from the Jakarta Government, and a winner of prestigious competition in the various fields, such as, mathematics, futsal, band, and scouts.­­ He was a Boy-scouts, that shaping his leadership characteristic and pro-active skill. Graduated from Kelas Super Yohannes Surya, that is a special class for qualified high-school students with minimum IQ 150 from all around Jakarta concentrating in physics groups. Recently he is UNESCO Youth Peace Ambassador and the member of Garuda Youth Community as PIC Design in Research and Development Department. He is also the former of supervisory board in Indonesian Environmental Engineering student association (IMTLI).
